I believe this is definitely not harmless. This IP visited and asked for only three files of interest to either comment spammers, or worse for code injection looking for security weaknesses. It had not asked for these before (or it would already have been banned), and it did not visit earlier anything other pages earlier today, so it probably received the URL by sharing information from another robot.
Upon adding it to the 'deny from' entries in my .htaccess I find at some time I have also previously added the adjacent 78.129.202.17. May 06 2008 06:06 PM |
