Hi,

Complete newbie from honeypot project pov.

I want to ensure that the honeypot project setup for the website being developed is setup and working correctly.

We are working on a compliance related programme and I want to prove/verify that the functionality is working as expected.....

How would I go about doing that?

I'm in a similar situation. I need to setup a Selenium test to ensure that spam traps aren't being accepted through our setup. Are there any known honeypot emails that I can use for testing purposes?

A list of honeypot emails would kind of defeat the purpose of being "secret".

If your setup is scraping websites to collect email addresses and collect an address from a honeypot, well ...

The FAQ I referenced above, years ago, may help.
