Issue Trying To Get Honey Pot to Work

Hi all, I have installed honey pot successfully on my domain in the root.

I am trying to follow step 4 by adding the example urls inside my pages where the forms and register pages reside.

So far the only issue I am having is placing the code inside a php file.

The file I am having issues with is register.php.

When I add one of the examples like <a href=" or <div> or // example link.

Nothing is working.

Do I need to change the link somehow for it to work inside a php page? I've googled it but nothing I've tried has worked.

Well I found this code to use and placed it inside a sub folder of my root where there is a register form that is being attacked daily by bots.

echo <<<HTML
<a href="https://www.mywebsite/honeypotfile"><img src="seignorial.gif" height="1" width="1" border="0"></a>
HTML;

So far it is not working as I don't see any stats showing bots blocked.

What am I missing?

Well I've abandoned this project as there is no support and the steps to set it up don't work on my server. Went with Stopbadbots instead much easier to set up and great support.
